Vastu Shanti Puja in Ujjain is a traditional Hindu ritual performed to remove negative energies and bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to a home or workplace. It is done before entering a new house, after renovation, or to correct Vastu doshas. The puja seeks blessings from Vastu Purush, the guardian of directions, and the deities of the five elements. In Vastu Shanti Puja, the priest begins with Ganesh Puja to remove obstacles, followed by the installation of the Kalash. Holy mantras and readings of merit are chanted to invite positive energy. Vastu Purush is worshipped with flowers, rice and holy water. Sodsomantrik Puja is also performed to balance the effects of the planets. This is followed by Vastu Dosh Puja, followed by Vaastu Homam and finally, Aarti and Prasad are distributed, which bring peace and blessings to the house.
