According to vedic puran's Ekadash rudrabhishek puja is the most powerful puja of Lord Shiva. Ekadash is known as eleven form of Lord Shiva. The Ekadash rudrabhishek is representation of the 10 vital energies in the body,The eleventh one being the soul.
At first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees and than 11 mantras are chanted in accordance to the Vedas along with the Abhishek of Lord Shiva. Lord shiva is worshipped in his rudra form.
