Temples in Grishneshwar

The Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is a Hindu temple in Maharashtra, India. It is the 12th most Shiva temple in the country. The temple is situated in the village of Verul near the famous Ellora Caves Daulatabad in Maharashtra. The place of temple was destroyed by the Delhi Sultana in the 13th-14th century AD. But the temple was reconstructed by Maratha ruler Shivaji’s grandfather, Maloju Bhisale of Verul, in the 16th century AD. As, After the fall of the Mughal Empire the structure was rebuilt by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century AD.

The Kailasa Temple is an old Hindu temple in Maharashtra. During the ancient days, it was created from a single rock and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva, it was built in the 8th century by Rachtrakuta king Krishna. This temple is a world-class Wonder as it is located near Ellora caves the city of Aurangabad Maharashtra. The temple is approximately 164,000 square feet and it has multiple structures, including the main temple, yard, and a surrounding wall. It is designed similarly to Mount Kailash, the holy place of Lord Shiva. The Kailasa Temple is the identity of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Temple is located in Khuldabad near Aurangabad, Maharashtra, honouring and worshipping Lord Hanuman. It was built in the 17th century when Aurangzeb was the emperor. Today, the Bhadra Maruti Temple remains a place of spiritual importance and draws numerous visitors who come to offer their prayers and ask for the divine support of Lord Hanuman.
