Mahalaxmi Havan Vidhi

  • To start the Havan of Maa Lakshmi, place the Havan Kund on the Havan platform. Perform the Havan Puja with roli, rice, mauli and flowers.
  • Invite Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi to be present during the puja.
  • Properly summon Mata Mahalaxmi. Give five offerings of ghee. Make prayers in the names of Gauri Ganesha and Navgrah.
  • After this, while chanting mantras, mix white sesame seeds, lotus seeds, chopped nuts, havan samagri and cow ghee in the havan kund and offer other prayers.
  • The number of offerings may be 11, 21, 31, or 51.
  • After the havan, the aarti of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi is performed using camphor or cow ghee.
  • After the havan, batasha, fruits, sweets, puffed rice and sugar toys are distributed as prasad.
