Dakor - Dhaja Puja

About

The Dakor Puja is done to take divine blessings and protection from God and Goddesses. Puja ritual includes chanting mantras, aarti, offering of flowers, incense and other items.
At first the sankalp is taken in the name of the devotee. Than the devotees make religious symbols with the mantras chanted by the devotees. Than the flag is offered to Lord Ranchhodraiji by the devotees who has made the wish to make the Dhaja Puja. The flag is then hoisted on a long bamboo pole by the priests and the mantras are chanted.
