Shree Ganesh Yaag is a sacred fire ritual devoted to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and giver of wisdom and prosperity. It begins with Ganapati Prarthana, Sankalpam, and Kalash Sthapana, followed by chanting the Ganapati Atharvashirsha and offering durva, modaks, and ghee into the sacred fire. The mantras “Om Gam Ganapataye Namah” are recited to invite divine blessings. Performing this yaag removes negativity, ensures success, and brings peace and prosperity—especially before new beginnings like weddings, ventures, or housewarmings.

Shri Ganesh Yaga is a powerful Vedic ritual that begins with Ganapati Dhyanam, Avahanam, and Kalash Sthapana, followed by Shodashopchar Puja using flowers, incense, turmeric, and sweets. Vedic chants, especially the Ganapati Atharvashirsha, are recited. The central part is the Havan, where offerings like ghee, durva, sesame, and modak are made into the sacred fire. Concluding with Aarti and prasad distribution, this yaga—performed on Chaturthi by 11 Brahmins—invokes Lord Ganesha’s grace for removing obstacles and bringing peace and prosperity.
