Grishneshwar - Mahamrityunjay Jaap

In Sanskrit, the word "Mahamrityunjay" is a combination of three words, "Maha" which means "great"; "Mrityun" which means "death" and “Jaya” means "victory over death." It is believed that the Mahamrityunjay Jaap was found in the Rig Veda and was written by Markandey Rishi. This mantra is also known as "Rudra mantra" or "Trmbakam mantra." This mantra is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Chanting this mantra helps to seek blessings from Lord Shiva.
