About
"Bhog" means "food that is offered to deities" during worship or rituals and "Rajbhog" refers to the "royal offering to the deities or 56 bhog". The Rajbhog offering is used in Hindu temple traditions. This bhog for Krishna is prepared with love and devotion and offered at noon every day. Radha Krishna bhog contains various things like fruits, sweets, cooked dishes and other vegetarian food items.
In this ritual, after the arti is done, the Rajbhog is offered to the deity and then, it is distributed as prasad. It is believed that offering bhog to God is the best way of expressing devotion to the deities. This ritual symbolizes the removal of darkness and the presence of the divine light.
At first, a sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then the invoking of Lord Krishna is done by the pujari with the help of mantras and prayers by the pujari.
