About
Laghu Rudra Abhishek in Junagadh is a ritual done for worshipping Lord Shiva where chanting of mantras is done. In this ritual, Panchamrut (milk, curd, honey, ghee and Ganga jal), is offered to the Shivling. This offering represents the devotees' devotion to Shivji.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking Lord Shiva is done with the help of mantras and prayers by the pujari following all the Vedic rituals. Then things like Panchmrit, Curd, Milk, Ganga Jal, Ghee and Flower are used to Abhishek on Lord Shiva along with chanting of mantras by the 11 pujari. At last, arti is done by the pujari and blessings are taken by the devotees.
