Lord Ganesh is known as "Vighnharta" and God of wisdom and fortune. Before Starting any new ventures devotees worship Lord Ganesh. Ganesh Yaag is the main Upasana f Lord Ganesh. Ganesh Yaag is a sacred ritual that involves offering into fire. Ganesh Yaag is dedicated Lord Ganesh. During this Hawan vidhi included offering of clothes and sweets to Lord Ganesh. This Yaag vidhi also includes reciting of Ganesh Athrvashirsh path.
At first kalash is establish with Mango leaves and coconut in a red cloth and tie it with a red thread, leaving the top of the coconut uncovered. Then Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than invoking of Lord Ganesh is done with help of mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then pujari sets fire into Hawan Kund and performs hawan vidhi and 10 Brahmin recites Ganesh Atharvashirsha path 40 times.. Then Pujariji offers new clothes and sweets to Lord Ganesh and Riddhi -Sidhhi. At last arti of Lord Ganesh is done and blessings are taken by the devotees.
