About
Gau means Cow and Daan means Donation. Cows are always addressed as Mata which means mother in the Hindu religion. Gau Daan Puja is an ancient ritual in Hinduism in which cows are donated by a Pandit and grass is fed to the cow by the hand of the Pandit.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of devotees. Later our Pandit ji donates to the cows and feeds grass to them.
