Jodu Seva Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

About
Jodu Sevalu Puja is a special and sacred ritual mostly done in South Indian temples, especially in Vaishnavite traditions. The word "Jodu Sevalu" means "pair of services." It refers to offerings made to two deities at the same time, usually Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, or to two forms of the same god, like Sri Venkateswara with Bhudevi and Sridevi. This puja highlights the divine bond, harmony, and balance of energies. Devotees perform this ritual to get blessings for a happy married life, family unity, and spiritual progress. The puja includes abhishekam (holy bath), alankaram (decoration), naivedyam (food offering), and deepa aradhana (lamp worship). It is believed that worshipping the divine couple together increases the power of devotion and brings peace, wealth, and well-being. Jodu Sevalu is especially popular during festivals or temple celebrations like Kalyanotsavam and Brahmotsavam.
