The Azhimala Shiva temple is near Vishinjam in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The temple is known for its 58 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva in Gangadhareshwara. Along with Lord Shiva, many other deities are also worshipped, like Ganpati and Parvati. Festivals celebrated at this temple are Naranga Vilakku, Maha Shivratri and many more. The best time to visit the temple is during the Maha Shivratri festivals. Pujas such as Udayasthamaya, Pradhosham, Uma Maheshwari, and Divasa are some of the important pujas conducted in the temple.
