About Chottanikkara Temple

The Chottanikkara Devi Temple is dedicated to the goddess Bhagavati Lakshmi, located in Kochi, Ernakulam district, Kerala. This place honors the Divine Mother, also known as Rajarajeswari (Adiparasakthi), in three different forms: Saraswathy in the morning, Lakshmi at lunch, and Durga in the evening. Because there is a Mahavishnu idol in the same place, the deity is also known by the names Ammenarayana, Devinarayana, Lakshminarayana and Bhadrenarayana. Makam Thozhal and Navarathri are important festivals at this temple. The best time to visit this temple is between October and March.
