The Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, also known as the Gavipura Cave Temple, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is carved into a single stone. The four monolithic pillars of the temple, which stand in for Damaru, Trishul and the two huge circular discs on the patio, are another notable structure. Makara Sankranti is an important festival for this temple. For visiting this temple, January is the ideal month.
