About Mahadev Khola Dham Meghalaya
The Mahadev Khola Dham is located in the city of Shillongm, Meghalaya, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to be more than 150 years old and is one of the oldest temple in the state of Meghalaya. According to legend, the temple is built at the spot where Lakhiya Baba, a sage was decided to stay and meditate. The present temple was built by several persons after independence, but the earlier one was built with the permission of the then British government.
