Saketri Shiv Mandir is located in the Panchkula district of Chandigarh. It is an ancient temple 500 years ago and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is famous for its Shivratri celebrations, as the idol of the Shivling is decorated with colourful flowers and has a silver bottom part and is richly decorated during the Shivratri festival. The construction of the temple is very unique having white marble and four cones of equal height with gold plated domes on the top.
