Gandhinagar Shree Dholeshwar Mahadev Temple

Dholeshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva. It is believed that this sacred shrine stands from thousands of years may be before the Mahabharat time. Dholeshwar Mahadev temple is located on the bank of River Sabarmati near the village of Randesan, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The importance of Dholeshwar Mahadev Temple is mentioned in various Puran written by saint Maharshi Ved Vyas and believed as Kashi of Gujarat. It is also believed that if any devotee cannot visit Kashi then the devotee will get the same Punya after visiting this place and bathing in river Sabarmati. The best time to visit is during Shravan month.
