The Siddhivinayak Temple is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha and was originally constructed in 1801 A.D. by a rich Agri woman named Deubai Patil. Deubai Patil did not have a child so she built this grand temple so that Ganesha would grant the child to childless women. The temple is considered to be one of the richest temples in Mumbai and India, inside the temple there is a little mandap and the shrine of Siddhivinayak with the wooden doors of the sanctum carved with figures of Ashtavinayak while its inner roof is plated with gold. On the outside, the dome of the temple is beautifully lit up every evening with colourful lights and under which is the shrine of Lord Ganesha. Also, there are festivals like Sankashti Chaturthi, Vinayaki Chaturthi and Ganesh Chaturthi are celebrated. To visit the Siddhivinayak Temple the best time is the month from June to December.
