Shree Swaminarayan Temple Bhuj is located in Bhuj city, Gujarat. It is one of the famous temples constructed by Swaminarayan, the founder of the Swaminarayan Sampraday. This temple comes under the Nar Narayan Dev Gadi. The earthquake in 2001 destroyed the temple but due to some miracle, the divine idols remain as it is without any damage. In 2010 A.D. a new temple was constructed where all the divines were moved. Dedicated to Nar Narayan and Swaminarayan, the new temple of Swaminarayan is an architectural masterpiece built with marble across 5 acres of land, The sparkling structure has 7 shikhara with the main dome, 25 smaller domes and 258 carved pillars made of pure marble. Apart from the main deities, the temple also houses the idols of Radha Krishna, Ghanshyam, Sukh Shaiya and many other deities. It also displays a wonderful 3D film that describes the life of Lord Shrie Swaminarayan.
