About Assam Tilinga Mandir

The Tilinga Mandir or Bell temple is located in the city of Tisukia, Assam, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Bell Temple is mystically and spiritually stronger than other temples. There are more than hundreds of bells of different size in the temple. The bells are made up of different metals such as bronze, brass, aluminum, copper and are tied to a huge Peepal tree. The Shivling here is believed to be self emerged. The temple is almost half a century old.
