Kolhapur - Panchamrit Kumkumarchan with Naividhyam

The Panchamrit Kumkumarchan Abhishek ritual is carried out in Kolhapur where the Kumkumarchana is a combination of two words "Kumkum" is a red powder and "Archana" means offering. In this ritual, god is offered Panchamrit( a mixture of 5 things mainly Milk, Curd, Honey, Sugar and Ghee.) In this ritual, devotees worship the Goddess by applying kumkum to their idols or images.
