About
Belwarchan means "Belpatra". Belpatra refers to leaves of the Bel tree. Belpatra tree is considered a very scared and holy tree for the hindus. Also the leaves of the tree is trifolic which represent the trinetra of three eyes of Lord Shiva. In Hindu mythology, the leaf also represents the trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Belpatra has great importance in Vedic puran. The Devi Parvati named it Bilva. Belpatra Tree is most favourite tree of Lord Shiva.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Lord Shiva is Worshipped. Than the Mantras are chanted by the pujari. Then the things like Milk, Ganga Jal and panchamrit are used to Abhishek on Lord Shiva. After the complete Abhishek Puja, Pujari start the chanting mantras and devotees Speak "OM NAMHA SHIVAY" and Offering Belpatra to the Shiv Ling. At last arti is done by the pujari and puja is complete.
