Dasha Ekadashi Shradh is a ritual in which paying homage and offering is done with prayers to the ancestors, especially to the Parents and Grandparents. The puja is done to remember ancestors and seek their blessings. At first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then, various gods like Lord Vishnu, Lord Ganesh etc. are invoked with the help of chanting of mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then offering of things like rice balls, water etc are done following all the Vedic rituals proper by the devotees following the instruction given by the pujari. At last, blessings are taken by the devotees and the puja is completed.
