Bamacharam Chattopadhyay was an saint who was born in Tara pith located in the Birbhum. He was Goddess Tara's ardent devotee. He stayed in Mouliksha temple for worship of holy Mother. It is believed that Ma Tara gave darshan to Bamdev in her ferocious form.
Kanakalitala mandir near Bolapur which is famous as one of the as one of the shakti peeth. The temple is located on the bank of the river "Kopai". Kankalitala is also known as Shila Pith". Shakti piths formed due to the falling of body parts of the Sati Devi. It is believed that devi sati's bones have fallen here.
Pujariji will take the devotees for darshan of both place in the evening time after 7PM. At first pujari will take the devotees for darshan of Shila pith devotees can offer fool mala to the Goddess and than Bamdev darshan will be done.
