Lord Ganesh has many names like Ganesha, Akdantay and Bappa. Lord Ganesh is son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Ganesh is known as God of wisdom and good fortune. Purva Ganesh yaag ritual dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh is also known as Vighnaharta.Ganesh Atharvashirsha is a sanskrit verse originated from Atharvaveda. Reciting Atharvashirsha very beneficial to devotees. Performing this yaag vidhi helps to invokes Lord Ganesh blessings for success and to removes obstacles.
At first kalash is establish with Mango leaves and coconut in a red cloth and tie it with a red thread, leaving the top of the coconut uncovered. Then Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than invoking of Lord Ganesh is done with help of mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then pujari sets fire into Hawan Kund and performs hawan vidhi and 20 Brahmin recites Ganesh Atharvashirsha path 1000 times. At last arti of Lord Ganesh is done and blessings are taken by the devotees.
