Lord Ganesh the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Before starting anything new devotees always worship him as it is considered that he is the God of wisdom and prosperity. Worshipping Lord Ganesh is very beneficial for the devotees. During this puja Athrvashirsh path is done by the Pujariji. "Ganpati Athrvashirsh" is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. It is Beleived that Ganpati Athrvashirsh is a part of the Atharvaveda one of the four Vedas. Which is written by sage "Atharva". Lord Ganesh is the God of wisdom worshipping with him with this ritual is best way to please him.
At first Pujariji makes idol of Lord Ganesh from clay. Then Lord Ganesh idol is establish. Then Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Lord Ganesh's invoking is done by the pujariji by chanting mantras. Pujariji do Abhishek on Lord Ganesh with the help of things like Milk, water and Flower. Ganesh Athrvashirsh path is done by the pujari. At last arti of Lord Ganesh is done. Pujariji will do this puja for 11 days of Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
