The word Shringar is a sanskrit word "Shringar" means beautification and puja means worship of the deity. In this puja Lord shiva is adorned with various items as part of the ritual. This ritual involves decorating the Lord shiva with Flower, Clothes and other sacred things. Baba Baidyanath temple Deoghar is the one of the twelve Jyotirling. Every Shringar of the Lord Shiva is done with the help of thing like flowers, fruits and sweets, Bhasm, sandalwood paste and several other offerings.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of devotees. Than invoking of Lord Shia with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then Pujariji will perform the abhishek with the help of thing like water, Milk, Bhasm and sandalwood paste. Then Shringar of Lord shiva is done with the help of things like flowers, fruits and sweets, Bhasm and several other offerings. At last, the Arti of Lord Shiva is done and the devotees take blessings of Lord Shiva.
