Manokamna Purti puja means wish fulfilment puja. This puja is done for fulfilment of wishes and desires of the devotees. Every living person on this earth has some or the other desire. To achieve and fulfill them the people work hard and worshipping the God’s they believe in.
At first sankalp is made in the name of the devotee and than Shodashopchar Puja is done by chanting Vedic Dasha Shanti mantras and offering prayers. Than Ganga Jal is offered to Surya dev, Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva. After that Mahamrityunjay jaap is done 108 times along with hawan and at last Hanuman chalisa is read.
