The term "Abhishek" is derived from Sanskrit and means "pouring over." This ritual is performed to show devotion, seek blessings, and express reverence towards the deity. Abhishek puja is a ritual in which devotees offers various things to the Goddess. In this ritual devotees offers thing like Milk, Water, Ghee, Curd, Honey, Flowers to the Goddess. At last arti is done and blessing are taken by the devotees.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking of Goddess Renuka is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then things like Milk, Curd and Flower is used to Abhishek on Renuka devi along with mantras chanted by the pujari. Puja is complete and blessing are taken by the devotees.
