Ram Charit Manas is a poem written by Saint Tulsidas in the 16th century. It is a retelling of Ramayana for the general people of that time from the Sanskrit to Awadhi language, the poem is divided into many Kand or sections each describing different phases of Lord Rama's life.
At first, the Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees and then the puja is started. Then invoking of Lord Ram is done with prayers and mantras by the pujari. Then the pujari starts the path of Ram Charit Manas. Lord Ram and his blessing is gained.
