Durga Saptashati path is also known as the Chandi path this path is a collection of 700 mantras that worship the Goddess Durga. Durga saptashati path describes the story of the triumph of Goddess Durga over the demon Mosasaur. All the nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped during this puja.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of devotees. Then invoking of Goddess Durga is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then all the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga are worshipped.
