Navchandi path at Mahurgad is dedicated to Goddess Renukadevi. It is believed that the Renukadevi temple is one of the three-and-a-half Shakti Peeth.  Navchandi path is a powerful ritual dedicated to Goddess Chanadi. In this puja, all the nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped. During this puja, various mantras are chanted by the pujari. Durga Saptashati is also known as Devi Mahatmaya or chandi path.

Nanda Dip Puja the lighting diyas is an important tradition and is considered sacred. They are meant to protect against negative energies and symbolise purity.  Abhishek  Puja at Mahurgad in which the term "Abhishek" is derived from Sanskrit and means  "pouring over." This ritual is performed to show devotion, seek blessings, and express reverence towards the deity. Abhishek puja is a ritual in which devotees offer various things to the Goddess. In this ritual, devotees offer things like Milk, Water, Ghee, Curd, Honey and Flowers to the Goddess. At last, arti is done and blessings are taken by the devotees.

Panchamrit Abhishek Puja in which the "Panchamrita" literally means "five nectars, Panchamrit Abhishek is a ritual puja in Mahurgad where five liquids are poured over the deities and mantras are chanted. The word Panchamrit is a combination of two words Panch which means five and Amrita which means nectar. The five main ingredients are used to make Panchamrit including milk, curd, honey, ghee and sugar. These all are mixed. Mantras are chanted throughout the process and once the puja is completed, the Panchamrut is distributed as prasad. 

Bhogi puja is an important puja ritual that takes place in Mahurgad, which is done at the Renuka Devi Temple. Bhog means a special offering that is done to the Goddess by the devotees to gain her blessings. In this puja, special things are offered to the Goddess. In this ritual, things like Coconut, Sweets, Turmeric and Kumkum are offered to the Goddess.  

The term Samput Patha "Puja" typically refers to worship or ritualistic. This puja mantra is recited with the addition of specific phrases. Durga Saptashati path in Mahurgad is also known as the Chandi path this path is a collection of 700 mantras that worship the Goddess Durga During the puja various mantras and Jaap are chanted.

Vida Prasad Puja is held in Mahurgad and plays an important role for devotees. In this, Vida means Betel leaf. In this ritual, betel leaf is offered to the goddess. Betel leaves are considered very auspicious. It is believed that it is a symbol of purity. while offering the betel leaves, devotees chant mantras and prayers to invoke the blessings of the deity and seek their protection and grace.

 Shri Suktam Abhishek with Naivedyam Puja holds place in Mahurgad in which Shree sukta is one of the panch suktam. Shri sukta is a sacred mantra found in the Rig Veda. Shree sukta is made up of 16 Mantras. Shri sukta Abhishek involves chanting according to the mantras of Shri sukta. Performing Shri Sukta Abhishek with offering Naivedhyam is very beneficial to the devotees. Naivedhyam refers to the food that is offered to deities during puja. The Naivedhyam includes various things like Fruit, Sweets, and Cooked dishes. It is believed that offering Naivedhyam and doing Shri Sukta Abhishek is the best way of expressing devotion to Renuka Devi.
