The "56 Bhog" is a traditional offering made to Lord Ganesha. 56 Bhog ritual takes place in Mahemdavad. This offering consists of fifty-six different types of food items, which are prepared and presented to the deity as a form of devotion and gratitude.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then offering of all the 56 food items is done to Lord Ganesh by following all the Vedic rituals and processes by the pujariji. At last, prayers are offered to Lord Ganesh and the blessings are taken by the pujariji.
