About
"Akhand Jyoti" refers to the continuous burning of a lamp or a flame in front of a deity or in a sacred space. The Akhand Jyoti is considered auspicious and is believed to symbolize the eternal presence of the divine.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than lighting of the akhand jyoti is done by the pujari ji infront of Lord Ganesh.
