About

"Aarti" is a sacred ritual in  Mahemdavad where devotees offer light or fire to a deity, accompanied by prayers, hymns, and devotional songs. This ceremony involves waving a lamp before the deity in a circular motion, usually clockwise. Its purpose is to pay homage to the deity and seek their blessings.

At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then offering of Aarti is done by the pujariji by following all the proper Vedic rituals. At last blessings of Lord Ganesh are taken by the devotees.
